Kalpana Kumari, MD

Dr. Kumari is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a licensed physician in both New York and New Jersey. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, New Jersey.

Dr. Kumari has several years of experience in private practice as a pediatrician in New Jersey. She was also an attending physician in the Emergency Department at Richmond University Medical Center, Staten Island, New York.

Dr. Kumari is married and is a mother of two children. Her areas of special interest include childhood obesity, autism and ADHD. She has personal experience in working with special needs children especially children with autistic disorders and their caregivers.
